About
Dr. Theuma is a board-certified endocrinologist at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. He has 22 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of complex endocrine disorders.
He can also interpret dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) bone density tests as part of osteoporosis care.
Dr. Theuma is committed to your care and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery based on current standards of care and guidelines from professional societies, such as The Endocrine Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Outside of work, he loves traveling, trying new foods, and gardening.
