(PERRY, IA) JANUARY 2017— The 2017 new year is bringing planned changes to Dallas County Hospital’s second floor atrium space. As approved by Dallas County Hospital’s Board of Trustees, construction will begin on or before February 1, 2017 to finish space in the hospital that has in prior years been unused with completion by June 2017. The project will allow Dallas County Hospital to introduce a new service, and will accommodate the growing demand for community education programs.
(January 2017, Perry, IA) – Dallas County Hospital has achieved recognition as an Adopter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s PATIENT FINANCIAL COMMUNICATIONS BEST PRACTICES®. As a Best Practices Adopter, Dallas County Hospital demonstrated that it follows nearly 100 best practices covering all aspects of financial interactions that take place in a variety of care settings.
“In a time when patients are paying more out-of-pocket for their health care, the financial conversations we have with patients have never been more important,” said Angela Mortoza, CEO. “We have taken steps to ensure that patients are treated with compassion and respect in financial matters, and this recognition confirms that.”
