Medical Staff

Dr. Steven Sohn, Chief of Medical Staff at Dallas County Hospital, joined Mercy Family Care - Perry in July of 1986. He received his degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his residency at Broadlawns Medical Center. He is board certifed in family practice, geriatrics, hospice, and palliative medicine.

Dr. Eric Ash joined Mercy Family Care - Perry in June of 1998. He received his degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his residency at Broadlawns Medical Center. He is certifed with the American Board of Family Practice, and his special interests include pediatrics, sports medicine, colonoscopies, and LEEPS.

Dr. David Huante joined Mercy Family Care - Perry in October of 2006. He received his degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital. Certifed with the American Board of Internal Medicine, his special interests include general health issues for the hispanic population.

Dr. Kurt Klise joined Mercy Family Care - Perry in July of 1986. He received his degree from Kansas University Medical School of Medicine and completed his residency at Broadlawns Medical Center. Certifed with the American Board of Family Practice, his special interests include colon cancer screening and colonoscopies; geriatrics, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes.

Dr. Michael Sargent, joined Mercy Family Practice - Perry in August of 2011. He received his degree from Des Moines University School of Medicine and completed his residency at NE Iowa Family Medicine in Waterloo.
