Construction on the Dallas County Hospital south parking lot renovation will resume progress on April 13, 2009. Finalization of the concrete work around the circle drive, as well as the lower level employee parking lot will be completed at that time. The entire project is anticipated to be finished by June 1, 2009.

During this phase, we ask that patients and visitors continue to park in the South Parking Lot and utilize the new drive entrance from the frontage road on the south end of the lot. Additionally, during this time, access to the hospital’s main entrance will again be through the University of Iowa Clinic entrance just to the east of the hospital’s main doors. Valet staff will continue to monitor the parking lot to direct patients and visitors to their desired locations 

Dallas County Hospital staff is working hard to ensure a smooth transition through this process. We appreciate your patience and are looking forward to providing a more accessible entrance to our patients and visitors.
